"I pay special attention to how people navigate relationships, as I believe that these are the foundation of flourishing life. The relationship with oneself is the most important relationship, which often brings people to therapy."

About me
I am an integrative therapist with a strong foundation in Humanistic approaches, mainly rooted in Person-Centered Therapy. I also utilize Choice Theory/Reality Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and other modalities depending on the needs of the client. With couples, I use Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, The Gottman Method and Choice Theory.
I am a qualified counsellor and psychotherapist and a fully accredited member of IACP. I abide by the IACP Code of Ethics which sets out the guidelines for ethical best practice for counsellors. I also engage in continuous professional development and regular clinical supervision to improve and review my efficacy in providing a quality counselling service to clients.
Using myself to create a deep connection and a healing relationship in the therapy space, I aim to deliver my clients a confidential, warm, caring, non-judgmental and safe environment from where change can begin to emerge.
I work with individuals and couples presenting to therapy with a variety of problem situations, including self-esteem, relationship and intimacy difficulties, co-dependency, body dysmorphia and eating disorders, stress, change and uncertainty, life transitions, anxiety, panic attacks, depression including postnatal depression, loss and bereavement, childhood trauma, self-harm, suicidal ideation, addictions and more.
I have a special interest in eating disorders and couples counselling.
My aim as a therapist is to help clients in their healing and enhance their emotional and mental well-being, be it a short term therapy aimed at personal development or long-term psychotherapy looking at deeper unresolved issues.
