Biography:

My professional journey began in Dublin in 2017. Since then, I've been privileged to work in a general counselling practice, supporting clients, adults and adolescents as they face a myriad of challenges, including suicidal ideation and self-harm, navigating through relationship difficulties, managing stress, anxiety, panic attacks, depression, loss, bereavement, eating disorders, and phobias, including OCD. I also specialise in trauma and EMDR - Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing.

Counselling is a deeply personal journey, and there's no one-size-fits-all solution. There are many different ways in which therapy can help. You decide what you would most like to work on. Some of the issues that clients often choose to focus are:

  • Talking through an issue in order to make sense of what has happened, and to put things in perspective;

  • Making sense of a specific problematic event that sticks in the mind;

  • Problem-solving, planning and decision-making;

  • Changing behaviour;

  • Negotiating a life transition or developmental crisis;

  • Dealing with difficult feelings and emotions;

  • Overcoming self-criticism and enhancing self-care;

  • Dealing with difficult or painful relationships.

My goal is to support you through these challenges, offering a trustworthy relationship and providing a judgment-free zone where you feel safe and supported in talking about whatever is there. Collaboratively with you, I tailor therapy to fit your needs and preferences. I combine various therapeutic models, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered Counselling, Existential philosophy, Multicultural approaches and spirituality. Whether our sessions include discussions, worksheets, mindfulness, or creative media like art, my approach is fully tailored to your.

It takes immense courage to seek help and begin the process of transformation. I understand the bravery required to take this step. You are not alone. With support and understanding, we can embark together on a path toward healing and brighter days.Thank you for considering me as your counselor. If you believe I may be the right match for you, please don't hesitate to reach out so we can discuss how to navigate this journey together. Should I not be the right fit for your needs, I sincerely wish you the very best on your journey.
