Biography

Your mental health is as important and unique as your physical health. The two are tightly intertwined, what affects one often has a profound impact on the other. Life can be full of challenges and obstacles that can sometimes feel overwhelming and it's perfectly okay to seek a little extra help to navigate through them. Counselling is a deeply personal and private experience. It's a space where you can open up about your thoughts, feelings, and experiences without judgment.

Qualifications

I am a fully qualified Counsellor & Psychotherapist with over 7 years’ experience working in mental health services. I am a Pre-Accredited member of IACP (M15639). My qualifications include a BSc (Hons) in Integrated Counselling & Psychotherapy & a Masters of Science in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. I also hold a BA (Hons) in Social Care Practice.

The main approach that I use is Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. Although, I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches, including Humanistic, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Person-Cantered, Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy & Breathwork.
